Cookie policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used by our website (dredo.app) and by the Dredo app (desk.dredo.app and the customer portals on dredo.net). The website sets no cookies of its own, and analytics run only if you accept.

1. On this website (dredo.app)

We set no cookies of our own on this site. We keep a few small preferences in your browser, in local storage. They never leave your device and identify no one:

• dredo-lang: the language you chose, English or Spanish.
• dredo-theme: light or dark appearance.
• dredo-consent: whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we stop asking.

You can clear any of these at any time from your browser settings.

2. Analytics, only if you accept

We use Google Analytics 4, from Google, to see in aggregate which pages get visited and how people find us. It loads only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Choose Reject, or ignore the banner, and it never runs.

When you accept, Google sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>) to tell visits and sessions apart. Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses, and we do not use it for advertising.

To change your mind after accepting, clear this site's data in your browser to bring the banner back and choose Reject, or block cookies for dredo.app.

3. The Product Hunt badge

Our home page shows a Product Hunt badge. It is an image served by producthunt.com, so displaying it sends a request to Product Hunt, which may set its own cookies in your browser. We do not control those cookies and they carry no Dredo tracking. To avoid them, block third-party cookies in your browser.

4. The app and customer portals (desk.dredo.app and your-workspace.dredo.net)

When you sign in to the product, a few cookies and stored values make it work:

• better-auth.session-token: keeps you signed in. Strictly necessary; the app cannot work without it.
• NEXT_LOCALE: the language of your interface.
• dredo-theme and dredo-props, in local storage: your appearance and whether the ticket details panel is open.

We use Sentry, hosted in the European Union, to catch and diagnose errors, with occasional session replay to reproduce a bug. It runs in production and may set its own storage to group related events.

When you subscribe, we send you to Stripe's hosted checkout. Stripe sets its own cookies on its pages to take the payment and prevent fraud. We never see or store your card number.

5. Managing your choices

You can reject analytics from the banner and change any browser-stored preference from your browser settings. You can also block strictly necessary cookies, but then you will not be able to stay signed in to the app.

6. Changes

If we add or change cookies, we will update this page and, for anything that is not strictly necessary, ask for your consent first.

7. Language

This cookie policy is provided in English and Spanish. In case of any discrepancy or conflict between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails.
